Arts Access

Arts Access Victoria is a disability arts organisation providing access, participation, engagement and professional development in the arts and cultural life across Victoria for people with a disability.

Arts Victoria

Arts Victoria is part of the Victorian Government. It is responsible for giving arts policy advice to the government; offering funding to artists, arts organisations, communities and schools; looking after Victoria’s arts facilities; and making sure that audiences across Victoria can experience the arts no matter where they live.

Ausdance Victoria

Ausdance Victoria is the peak agency for dance in the state offering targeted programs and services to the dance sector and the wider community. Ausdance Victoria is an organisation of artists, arts workers and dance lovers who want to make dance a part of the lives of every Victorian.

Cultural Development Network

The Cultural Development Network is an association of local government arts and cultural development officers supporting a stronger role for participatory arts and cultural expression to build a healthier, more engaged and sustainable society.

Department of Human Services (Neighbourhood Renewal)

The Department of Human Services (DHS) is committed to making a positive difference for Victorians most in need through the provision of housing and community services. Neighbourhood Renewal brings together the resources and ideas of residents, governments, businesses and community groups to help break the cycle of disadvantage in public and social housing areas. Community Renewal is a community place based program which is improving facilities and supporting participation for people living in disadvantaged communities.

Office for the Community Sector and Community Programs

The Department of Planning and Community Development (DPCD) is responsible for managing the state’s planning system and building stronger communities. The Office for the Community Sector is dedicated to strengthening the Not For Profit community sector and works closely with the sector to implement the Victorian Government’s Action Plan: Strengthening Community Organisations.

Footscray Community Arts Centre

Footscray Community Arts Centre offers the diverse communities of Melbourne’s West a place and an opportunity for cultural expression, participation and exchange. The Centre works with artists, producers, teachers, students, community groups and cultural facilitators to build communities which are capable, inclusive and creative.

Koorie Heritage Trust

The Koorie Heritage Trust is a not-for-profit Aboriginal community organisation that aims to protect, preserve and promote the living culture of Aboriginal people of south-eastern Australia. Through education and promotion the Trust raises awareness and appreciation of the cultural diversity of Koorie culture in south-eastern Australia and works towards the broader goals of reconciliation for all Australians.

Multicultural Arts Victoria

Multicultural Arts Victoria is Victoria’s peak arts organisation promoting cultural diversity in the arts. MAV proudly represents artists and communities from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Municipal Association of Victoria

The Municipal Association of Victoria is the peak representative and advocacy body for Victoria’s 79 councils.

Museums Australia (Vic)

Museums Australia (Vic) is a membership organisation providing services and networks for people with specific museum interests. Services across the state include advice on museum matters, information resources, grants for museum projects, museum accreditation, professional development and seminars and workshops.

Port Phillip City Council

The City of Port Phillip was formed in 1994 and is an amalgamation of the former cities of Port Melbourne, South Melbourne and St Kilda. Port Phillip is an energetically creative place, welcoming and alive with activity, where all people can participate in and experience the arts and cultural life of the city. Council’s support for arts and culture acknowledges the social, health and wellbeing and economic benefits of fostering a diverse, culturally engaged and active community.

Regional Arts Victoria

Regional Arts Victoria is the peak Victorian agency resourcing and supporting contemporary and innovative regional cultural practice. In the 40 years since its establishment, RAV has demonstrated a long-term commitment to the concept that art practice is critical to building capacity and self-determination in communities.


VicHealth is an independent, statutory authority that works in partnership with organisations, communities and individuals to make health a central part of our daily lives. VicHealth does this by working with various groups within the community to influence health-related lifestyles and improve the environments (social, cultural, economic and physical) required to sustain good health and prevent illness. VicHealth builds opportunities for people to be informed, learn new skills, have greater access to activities that promote good health.
